FAQs

What is the cancellation policy?

If you are unhappy with the quality of our transcripts, feel free to cancel at any time by reaching out to support below and we will offer you a prorated refund for the remaining time in your subscription.

Can I always expect to receive my transcript by the next business day?
Yes, but on rare occasions, since our platform is based on OpenAI, there may be momentary delays when they are experiencing technical issues. Here is OpenAI’s status page.
How do you deliver the transcripts?

Every week, an email will be sent to you containing two files:
1. Word document of transcript (.docx)
2. HTML code ready to be copy and pasted (.txt)
[Visit our Tips page for more info.]

Are these transcripts ready to publish as is?

For most people, the answer is yes. However, if you spoke with imperfect grammar, please note that these “imperfections” will appear in the transcript. Proofreading your transcripts prior to posting is recommended.

For your convenience, in addition to .txt and .docx, we also give you the HTML output so that you can paste directly into your WordPress editory (or other CMS).

Why are Bible verses displayed twice?

You may have noticed that the verses may be listed twice, the first time without quotation marks and the second time within a blockquote with quotation marks and in italics.

First, you may misread the Bible and we didn’t want to put quotation marks around such mistakes.

Second, some preachers may want to go on a tangent in the middle of reading a verse (e.g. explaining the meaning of the original Hebrew or Greek word) so we didn’t want to put quotation marks around these verbal riffs. Here is an example of what our HTML output offers right out of the box.

How can I share the transcript with others to speed up the proofreading?

If you are part of a team and want to have others help with the proofreading, you can always convert your Word documents to Google Docs.

How are Bible verses formatted?

If you use our HTML format, verses are contained within a blockquote with quotation marks and in italics. Here is an example:

” 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.”

(Hebrews 9:14)

Note: If you mention Bible verses, or read Bible verses, or paraphrase Bible verses, our AI will NOT put these sentences within quotes due to the possibility of the preacher misreading or adding their own words. Instead, our AI will recognize that you are quoting from the Bible and output the precise Bible verses underneath.

Perhaps your audio quality can be improved. Here are some tips.

I am concerned about privacy and the potential negative uses of AI. What assurances can you give me?

We are definitely aware of the dangers of AI in terms of job loss, surveillance, censorship, and the dissemination of biased, or outright false information.

With these concerns in full view, a verse comes to mind. “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves” (Matt 10:16).

We can assure you that none of your transcripts will be kept or used in any way. In fact, all transcripts are immediately deleted from the server the moment they are emailed to you.

What if a month has 5 weeks?

For customers with monthly subscriptions, if a month has five weeks, the transcript files for the last week are free, according to your subscription plan.

For example, if your current subscription is the Platinum Plan (8 transcripts / mo) with Translations add-on, the extra 2 transcripts + their translations are free for the fifth week of the month.
